HAITI DISASTER -

Dear Fellow Patrollers;

The tragedy developing in Haiti cries out for a humane and a swift response. We all can help in many ways, especially ski patrollers.

Many patrollers are disaster trained and certified EMT’s. The local chapter has been calling individuals to volunteer their help.

This call for help has some consequences for our patrols throughout the NSP. The same people probably are the key people on the mountain. Now all patrollers come into play-

Please check with your specific mountain if more volunteer help is needed to fill the void.

We are all OEC trained, so to volunteer and to help out should not really be difficult.

The other thing you can do is to get in touch with the Red Cross and ask what specific donations are most practical. All donations will be appreciated and we as a group of volunteers are a big resource, because we want to help and understand that when in need help is needed fast.

Please act a.s.a.p, we can make a difference.
